Here's a few photos from Asher's first bath last week! After the initial shock, he didn't seem to mind the water at all. In fact, he felt so comfortable he peed all over after a few minutes in the tub! Kind of defeats the purpose of a bath, but it was better than having a screaming, squirming baby.

My Buddy

So I know what you are thinking, but this is not an entry about our new addition to the family. Rather, it is a glowing review for my latest gadget. One that I hope will allow you to see a lot more blog entries from your truly.

In June our sales staff at the office had a great month and our boss surprised all of us with new iPads! We opted for the 64gb wi-fi version. When I first brought it home I thought it would be a fun iPod-like toy but it has really turned into a great all around tool that I seem to have with me wherever I go.

I have found several apps that allow me to use it for work on a regular basis and it has great built in speakers so it has on more than one occasion served as a stand alone sound system (including when Brandy was in the hospital delivery room)!

If you are thinking about picking one up for yourself I highly recommend that you do it! And, if you do check out www.dodocase.com for the best case on the market!

Introducing Asher James Cunningham

The following blog entry was written while we were in the hospital. I inadvertently forgot to publish the post.




Well after a solid nine months of not blogging I am back in full force to introduce our son, Asher James Cunningham!

Asher was born weighing in at 7 lbs, 3oz. He is 19 3/4 inches long. And believe it or not he is blonde!

Seems a little surreal to say we have a son but I guess I will wait and see if the hospital powers that be allow us to actually take this little man home.

More photos to come when we are less sleep deprived!

All in a name

It's no secret that I don't love my name. Brandy. It's not awful - I can think of worse - but it also doesn't allude to visions of senators, lawyers, or other powerful people. If you stop to take notice, you'll realize as I have that the only characters on TV that are named Brandy are strippers or dogs. It's true. Now that I've told you, you'll notice, too. If only it would make me coffee

The printer/scanner my dad gave me for Christmas is amazing - every day I learn a new feature. The best part is it is wireless so I can print from across the room or the house... Now if only I could teach Docker to fetch the print outs!
